2025 Missoula Pride Collectible Poster
Do you love the 2025 Missoula Pride design as much as we do? Out of all the merch in the 2025 product line, this collectible 11" x 17" poster best showcases the 2025 design created by local artist T.Lyle--a psychedelic surrealist known for their intricate artworks that blend digital techniques with mixed media. With a background in industrial design and a rich career in the design industry, T's work often explores the intersections of technology, creativity, and spiritual connection. They described the 2025 design in terms of resistance, action, and justice on the one hand, and strength, unity, and diversity on the other:
This year's Missoula Pride design features the Pink Triangle, a reclaimed symbol of resistance (particularly salient in our current socio-political climate). Originally used by Nazis to stigmatize queer individuals, it was re-appropriated by the Silence=Death Project in 1986 to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic. The upright triangle now stands for defiance, solidarity and action. Behind it lies the rainbow flower of life, representing the beauty and strength of the LGBTQiA+ community. Its overlapping colors form a unified whole, while the wavy lines of the Missoula pride logo symbolize the rivers converging in Missoula, reflecting how individual journeys come together in unity and diversity. The design honors our history, celebrates our communities, and calls for continued action and justice. It's a tribute to love, joy, and pride--a reminder that the LGBTQiA+ community will thrive, resist, and grow.
As part of our nonprofit fundraising program, a portion of proceeds from this merchandise goes towards Missoula Pride efforts to empower the LGBTQiA+ community through education, advocacy, and collaborative networking.
